Growing up in Topanga Canyon, the outdoors have always been a big part of my life. My childhood was spent running around the hills and climbing trees. I began surfing the playful right point at the bottom of the canyon at 9 years old. I’ve switched up the equipment I ride several times, and have enjoyed finding ways to make the wave feel new and exciting when home from trips. Recently I’ve been focusing on expanding my knowledge of my surroundings and exploring as much of the coast as I can drive to and camp near. Traveling to some really beautiful places has inspired my growth and passions. Getting to see untouched nature is a big part of my life, and something I fight to protect. I do a lot of photography work and activism to help conservation projects and promote a lifestyle that includes being active and appreciating the environment.
