Vaha Pant is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 143.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hot weather pants, with one design issue Really nice pants, and great in hot and humid weather. I used them camping in Florida and they were as cool as shorts. I was worried the thick elastic waist and area would be really hot, but it isn't. The material doesn't produce massive ball sweat and protects from the sun. The one drawback is the single rear pocket on the right side. It's too loose, and only on one side. If Prana put another rear pocket on the left side, and added a closure button on each, these pants would be much better. There still great, but especially if you're using them as an adventure pant, it kinda sucks to have an super easily pick pocket-able rear pocket, and only one of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for yoga The fabric is really soft and light. The cut is perfect for full range of movement without limitation. I use them for yoga and love them. My oldest pair is about a year old and they seem to hold up well also. They're a little too breathable and light to wear in the winter without an underlayer and the hemp fabric is not something you'd want to wear in rain as it gets wet more easily than other fabrics (I switch to the Zion pants in Winter). Only thing I don't like, and it's just my own preference, is the drawstring. I'm not a fan of drawstring pants. Vaha's drawstring fortunately is one of the least intrusive ones I've experienced. I miss PrAna's Dorado pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Em I am a female yoga teacher that specializes in non-traditional yoga environments. My area of focus leans towards military, first responders, and adaptive yoga that may lead to hospitals, nursing homes, etc... (all places that the traditional female tight yoga pants might not be appropriate). These are fantastic! I get the movement and comfort I need and still look appropriate for the environment. PS... I love the pockets! Girls don't really get pockets in their clothing, so we have to jump over to the men's side and steal their pockets :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great fit but I am short Love the pants, look is great, can be worn in a yoga class or just around town. The ONLY thing is it is one length and I am a shorty coming in at 5'9". I have the medium and I am 178 lbs and they are super comfortable. They only come in 34 length legs and I had mine taken up to 30 because I will wear them while teaching, if you are going to wear them around just consider what length you need them hemmed to. My dress slacks are usually 30 and jeans at 32... Hope this helps... You will love the fit and feel of these pants! * only reason for not giving a 5 star is there is no option to select length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sutra on Steroids If you've worn and enjoy the Sutra pant, you'll dig this pant. Its the same thing with a little more stretch and give (perfect for climbing and yoga) and the elastic waist band fits more comfortably. Even with the elastic waist band, it still has a draw string on the inside so the adjustability is still there. They are great for everything from exercise to just hanging around the house on a lazy Sunday. The sizing however is odd. I'm a 32x32 and I ordered the small waist with a 32 inseam. The small waist fits perfectly (Strange as I would expect a medium to be my size) but the legs are very long. I need to cuff them at least twice to prevent them from dragging on the floor. I do like wearing them cuffed though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pant, but size down. I love the way this pant looks and feels. The legs are plenty loose for all yoga poses you may move into. The only issue I have is that I am a 32 waist in most things, and I have to really cinch down on the pull straps to get it tight enough to not feel like they are falling down. I wish the legs were just as loose in the 30 waist since it has both elastic and the pull strap. I do love the pants and get compliments all the time on them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for Hanging around the House Just like the title says, these pants are just perfect for lounging in the house. Seriously, I wear these bad boys all the time because of how comfortable they are and how nice they look. My only complaint would be that the medium size is just a tad too big for me (I usually wear a size 30 in jeans and Prana Brion pants), but this is offset by the ability to tighten the waist with the drawstrings. All in all, I would definitely recommend these if you want some very comfortable chill pants, or loose baggy climbing pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the Sutra pants only better! The Sutra pants were very nearly perfect save for a non-elastic waistband that forced you to wear one size too large and pockets that were forever losing things every time you sat down. With the Vaha pants, Prana hit the nail right on the head! The new elastic waistband is amazingly comfortable and allows you to wear your ACTUAL size instead of one size up. On top of that, the pockets are deeper than the Sutra so I don't lose things every time I sit down. I can't recommend these pants enough!

between the sutra and vaha, which has the longest rise?

Asked by: Anonymous
I just got both pants and they fit the same. The only difference I see is the waist - Vaha has a band, and Sutra has a drawstring. I like both a lot, but the Vaha band is more comfortable, and the sutra tie looks better.

fabric care?

Asked by: Anonymous
I have these and they are awesome! I simlky wash them on a gentle cycle with other technical clothing I own. And then dry on a low heat. They dry pretty fast and they have never shrank or lost their color.

Looking for a good travel pant. Does the hemp blend dry quickly when dried on a hanger?
