Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super comfy I'm torn in my review about this pant. I have 2 pair, purchased about 4 years from each other. Why? I wanted to see if something had changed with the material. Don't get me wrong, the material is lightweight, cool and comfortable, but it has one MAJOR FLAW ... they seem to discolor/fade big-time on the thighs. I have a blue and gray pair and both have this ugly discoloration on the frontside thigh area on both legs. I don't wear sunblock or lotion so it must be the natural skin oils causing this. My latest pair, it started to fade after 2 washings! I love these for comfort and look, but won't be buying them b/c of the fading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love These Pant (4.5 stars) I have all 5 colors (and waiting for the green to come out again). I wear them just about every day when I teach yoga and fitness. I do not practice when I teach so I only wear them when I teach. I wear them because they are light, very comfortable and roomy. I can wear shorts underneath them in case I have to teach and then plan to practice later. I love all the colors so I have plenty of choices of shirts that I can wear with them. They work well in colder months as well as in the summer.I can do some poses in them but find them a bit restrictive when I tried a full practice. I sweat a lot and then they become a bit heavy and stick to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice comfortable pants, not very breathable I like the pants, however, if you've never owned garments made with hemp (this was my first), there's a few things to know.Unlike most athletic wear, these pants aren't quick dry nor very breathable. I wouldn't wear it for a high intensity cardio workout, but for moderate exertion exercises (like yoga) it's fine. If you're used to wicking or performance fabrics, you might be disappointed.I'd also caution AGAINST throwing these pants in the washing machine with other garments the first time you launder. The pants 'shed' tiny fibers which ended up on just about everything else in the load. It didn't shed during subsequent washings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super comfortable After using the Sutra shorts for some time I finally sprung for the pants. They are amazingly comfortable to the point of not wanting to wear anything else, now that the temperature is warming up. My only real critique of them is that I wish they were slightly slimmer fitting. To make them perfect for me (5'7" with athletic/thin legs) the leg opening could be 1-1.5" or so narrower. Still plenty of room to move and for air flow, but not quite so swishy around the ankle. It's a simple tailoring fix to take them in myself but it's what prevents me from giving them five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, breezy and comfortable I've owned multiple of each of the hemp pants and the strung version is my favorite. They are super light, breezy and comfortable, I'm pleased there is no fly since its way more comfortable and assuring that no mishaps happen when commando; however I wish that the strung versions legs were narrower, and that they were synthetic free (perhaps bamboo rayon or untreated alpaca as an alternative =P). If I were to own one pair of pants (or the shorts version), these are them. Thanks for being the only producer of quality hemp pants apparently visible on the internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Women Too! These are the coziest pants ever. My boyfriend used to wear them so much, and once I borrowed a pair for a day I understood why. I finally bought my own, and couldn’t be happier. Even though I’m a woman and they’re made for men, I wear them all the time (which is not too unusual for me, as I love a gender-neutral look from time to time). They’re breathe-able, and light which, for those of us who live in hot places, is absolute gold. They’re the perfect balance between comfortable and professional. My boyfriend and I are both massage therapists, I also teach yoga and he also teaches anatomy Massage students, so we both need our clothing to allow for movement without compromising professionalism. These are perfect for us both.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing material, Crazy sizing OK, I'll start by saying I love the Sutra shorts, and the small fits me perfectly. These pants are sized crazily though!! I'm a 31 waist in pretty much everything, so I got the small.....the waist is at least 2-3 inches big on me so to wear them I have to crank the drawstring like crazy, they're also just BIG in general besides that. These would really benefit from a little opening at the front of the waist, that way they wouldn't have to size it in order to get around the hips....awesome product but bad sizing. If you can get the fit right grab a pair!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Do everything pant I use these pants as casual beat around town pants. They really are cut well; flowy but not like curtain drapes. They fit pretty close to as advertised though I felt like the mediums I got might be a little big in the waist. The length felt like 34" on the dot. I started to do yoga recently in these poants and they are really great for it. I would not recommend hot yoga (especially the lighter colored ones) as they would soak through fairly quick. They do have a bit of stretch to them which keeps me from blowing them out and if I do not get too sweaty, I can literally throw a shirt on and head to the cafe or meet up with the wife. Pretty good all-around d0-everything pants. I even wear them with some casual button up shirts and they look great!

Do these run long? I am 6'4" tall and normally wear a 36L...wondering if I can get away with a 34.

The 34-inch inseam is 34 inches long from the crotch seam to the bottom hem. You may be able to wear a 34 inch as long as you wear them low on your hips.

What is the front rise measurement for a size small? What about the leg opening?
