Simone Dress is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Go-To Dress I’m having great experiences with all the new stuff coming out this season- this dress is no exception. I’ve worn it dressed up at work under a blazer, out on the weekends with a vest and scarf, and eon its own with my birks. VERY soft material. I will say that I kept the hanger string on because I few it keeps the shoulders from sliding down. My only complaint is how thin and see through the skirt part is- I have to wear a slip under it for work bc you can see right through it. I’m 5’5”, 160 and quite curvy (with broad shoulders) and the L is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Open Back? Subtly Sexy. See Through Fabric? Not So Much. Love the movement & flare of the Simone Dress in Black. The open back is flattering and the pockets are perfect! The fabric drapes nicely but is see through even in Black. The ruched waist seems to sit a bit high (could be the hanger string preventing it from really sitting right, but I didn't want to cut that since I may return it) and the seams of it on the inside aren't comfortable. Really wanted to love it and keep it, for the skirt movement and the open back alone, but I couldn't ignore the sheer fabric and scratchy waist. I'm 5'3" 32B 115lbs and bought the XS which overall fit well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from flimsy I think its an ok dress but the fabric is way to thin and seems kind of cheap. The fit was a little off around the middle where it seemed to be a nicer fit if the dress was hiked up some. I bought it for travel and it does not work for cool weather because you cannot layer over it due to the dolman-like sleeve style. I kept it because I needed something for my trip but never used it because I couldnt get a sweater or jacket to fit right over it. Now, because I removed the tags, I can't return it. Oh well, its not horrible and I will use it for the summer

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has some oddities - would give a 3.5 if I could. This dress is nice, but not perfect. I love the cut of the back and the fabric is quite lovely and soft and I will keep it for these reasons. However, the top is a bit baggy around the bust and between the arms (which is not particularly flattering) and I don't understand the panels on the waist and wrists - they look really odd. I got the dress in black so they're less noticeable, but it would definitely be better without those. Lastly, i found the arms shorter than the picture - they did not reach my wrists, but were almost more three-quarter-length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Just got this dress & love it. Size small fits perfect (for ref I am 5'5", 118 lbs); fits well without being tight. You could order down if you want a snugger fit. The length comes right to the top of my knees. I am wearing it to work (I work in a business casual office). I think it is very appropriate for work, but I did pin the back so it would not gap. I could not figure out what to do with the ribbon at the neckline so I cut it off. I ordered the blue gray color and it is beautiful, a bit darker than shown in the picture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really weird fit I was so excited and hopeful for this dress but was instantly let down when I tried it on. From my waist down it fit well and was the fun dress I was hoping for, but the bust, sleeves and back were all wrong. The cuffs of the sleeves were so tight I couldn't move them up my arms and my forearms are not big. This tightness caused the top of the dress to be pulled down so that the bust/back area just didn't fit well. In the end it just looked too wonky and made me feel uncomfortable so back to the store it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering and Versatile! As I expected, this dress is very flattering to my body type. I am 5'9" and 190lbs and I ordered a black one in XL. I found the sleeves to be 3/4 length, as other reviews noted, but I prefer that length anyways. The material is comfortable, but not super stretchy. It is also fairly thin, but with the right colored undergarments, being see-through is not an issue. I have worn this dress to my professional office setting and dressed it up with a nice scarf. The pockets are an added bonus! Highly recommend!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute dress. Almost a great fit. 5'8" 142 lbs athletic build. The size small was a perfect fit around the waist and hips, and the dress hung well. The problem was in the sleeves. I have long arms and the sleeve fell on the meaty part of my forearm and was way too tight. And because the sleeves couldn't be pushed up (yes they were that snug) it then pulled the fabric tighter across my bust as well. I also ordered the medium as I wasn't sure on sizing and it was clearly too big (although still same issue with the tight sleeve.)

I don't understand the ribbon at the neckline? Without it the dress will fall off my shoulders. Does it go in the front or back?

Asked by: Anonymous
It is used to hang it not to wear it.

Simone dress. I don't understand the ribbon around the neck or in the back shows. But without it the shoulders will fall. I don't see it on the pictures of the models. Help?

Asked by: Anonymous
I cut it off, it is just to hang on the hanger.
