Shipping & Returns FAQs

Showdown Bomber Jacket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Heavier jacket than I expected I got the gray color. Two things I noticed right away were that (1) the "knit" parts (hem, sleeves, neck) were lighter than in the picture so they look the same color as the rest of the jacket, and (2) the zipper is really wimpy. Overall the jacket is puffier than I think it looks in the picture so it doesn't lay flat. The thing that caused me to return it, though, was that there were permanent creases/wrinkles across the back and one of the sleeves. They didn't come out even after washing. Might have kept it except for that...maybe. Anyway, it wasn't really what I thought it would be based on the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and stylish I really like this jacket! It is functional (cozy, warm, water-resistant) and the plaid makes it fun to wear. The neck, wrist, and bottom cuffs seal in warmth. It has a pocket for each hand and an inside-the-chest pocket. Quality is good; fabric seems abrasion-resistant. Suggestions: make the front pocket functional (the chest "pocket" seen from the outside is just for show; it doesn't connect to the inside pocket there), and use bigger zipper pulls. I am 5'2", 122 lbs, and the S is a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm and comfy I read previous reviews about this coat fitting just a little bigger than normal. I think that is true but it's perfect for layering a sweater underneath. The other day I wore it out when the temp was in the 30's and it was really warm! I love that a jacket that isn't a long length can provide such warmth. I think the gray is a nice color and it's a nice fit around the neck with the tapered collar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm coat, longish sleeves. I love the look of this jacket! I hesitate to call this a jacket as it is more like a coat. As the others say, it is pretty warm and I do live in a pretty warm climate so I won’t be able to use it too often. I now wear Medium but I got this in size small and it fits well. I am short so this may not be applicable to you but I found the arm length a little long for my tastes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Favorite Jacket I LOVE this jacket. I was on the fence about it, since it was pretty spendy, but I pulled the trigger. When it arrived, I was nervous it might be too small, because although I'm small in the torso, I have a plus 3 ape index, so sleeves are frequently too short. The sizing guide did not steer me wrong; it fits great. It's all the warmth of a puffy, but looks much nicer. I work in a school and it's often cold, so a really warm jacket that looks nice is a must. I wear literally it everywhere now. Even my bulky sweaters fit under it without feeling restrictive. There are some small reasons I'm not giving it all 5 stars. One is that the feathers are constantly poking their way out from the inside. The other is that it isn't even remotely water resistant. It tolerated getting Scotch-Guarded well though, so that's ok. The feathers thing is a little unfortunate. I wish the little horizontal pocket was an actual pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOOKS HEAVY BUT WEARS LIKE A CLOUD FEEL IN LOVE WHEN I SAW THIS JACKET AND ORDERED IT STRAIGHT AWAY, THE FIT IS AS EXPECTED, BUT WHAT I DIDN'T EXPECT WAS FOR IT TO BE SO LIGHT. STILL KEEPS ME NICE AND WARM AND PLENTY OF ROOM TO WEAR A BULKY SWEATER UNDERNEATH WITHOUT FEELING CONSTRAINED. IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE YOU SHOULD GET IT. IT REMINDS ME MORE OF A LETTERMAN'S JACKET THAN A BOMBER. GOOD JOB PRANA

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for a Mild Fall I live in Wisconsin and this coat would only really work maybe 1 month of the year unless I wear it indoors. It's super cute and probably would have fit great if I'd ordered the size that was recommended. It's sized for layering and is the most practical bomber jacket I've seen. I didn't see any feathers poking out, but I can imagine that would happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and fits well I wanted a nicer jacket to wear instead of my go to puffy and this is working well. It's warm and cute. I'm 5'8", 141 and the Medium fits well and I can definitely layer under it. The zipper pull is on the small side so that is annoying. Pockets are deep. Some feathers are left behind occasionally but I haven't found it to be excessive in anyway.
