Pillar Legging is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 206.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Daily Leggings The fabric on these leggings is slightly thicker than I would prefer during a heavy workout, however, I love how comfortable and practical they are for everyday use. The agave color is beautiful in person and looks great under darker tunics (as there is a slight camel toe issue in my case with these leggings specifically...my other prAna leggings have not proved to have the same issue in the front).Overall, I love these leggings. They fit well, look amazing, feel long lasting and have beautiful color options. The only downfalls I have had are typical womanly issues, that seem to happen when I hike them up a tad too far (I am used to high-rise not mid).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic and functional I really love the print on the pillar leggings I have. I ordered them in charcoal heather bodhi. The visual is of a subtle herringbone which makes them great for either workouts or out-and-about wear. They fit comfortably and stay put which is a huge plus in my book, and are extra comfortable since they are designed with no side seam (which reduces chafing and eliminates that horrible compression mark down the side of the leg). The only thing I was slightly disappointed about (slightly) was, for the price I paid, I had expected the fabric to be a bit more substantial. Overall, super happy with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Leggings I purchased these leggings for my yoga class and for wearing out on the streets after. They are comfortable, durable, and nonrestrictive, allowing me the flexibility I need for class. They fit perfectly, I am usually a size 2 in lululemon and purchased an XS to find the fit exactly right. I like these more than my lululemon leggings because they are softer, less restrictive and made from sustainable and eco friendly sources. I oringally thought I would only wear them occasionally, but they are so comfortable I find myself wearing them almost daily, and am planning on purchasing a second pair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good But Inferior to Ashley The Pros: The actual fit is great. Love the dark blue. The pants are a little long. I wear a size medium and am 5' 5", 126 lbs. with a small frame. The Cons: The new stitching on the waistband is lower and not as refined as on virtually every prAna legging I own, causing the top of the waistband to sometimes roll and to not sit as flat as the pant does with the Ashley. It makes it look like I have a stomach when I actually have a totally flat stomach. Also, the fabric is not as soft as it used to be. However, the blue is softer than the patterned legging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from new Pillar pants I ordered the new Pillar pants- my all time fav are the hemp junipers but they dont make the in a legging version - these fit well right out of the wash but sag on attempting a second wear - I like the rise but again on the second wear the band flips under my belly. I am usually between a medium and large and the medium fit well. The fabric is nice and thick - not see through but I wouldn't call them buttery either. They washed well the first two times - no pilling at this point and awesome fit the first wear. I don't usually try to get more than one wear out of leggings if I am teaching a hot or sweaty class - but if its restorative sometimes I will. being able to get a couple wears in between washes seems to preserve the pants longevity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them, fit well! Love these leggings! They are very comfortable, material feels great, very comparable to the Ashley capri and legging- with the chakra fabric. I already own two colors of these and have been wearing them non stop. I feel they fit true to size. I am 5'4'', weight about 128 lbs, size small fits well. I like the rise on these, they don't fall as much as the Ashley one's do on me. The rise is mid on these, which works out better for me with the activities I do- running and teaching Bootcamp classes. And the leggings length is better for me, it is almost perfect. If I were to compared these to the Ashley legging, the Ashley is longer, which looked too long and bunched at my ankles. Not a good look. These on the other hand don't do that. 5 stars for these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST YOGA PANTS If I could give these pants 6 stars, I would. They are the best yoga pants I own. I absolutely LOVE the feel and they fit perfectly. The texture is incredible and doesn’t slip around on my skin when I’m doing arm balances or binds. They’re also incredible at wicking sweat and fighting odors. I recently wore these pants to a morning Zumba class, followed by a noon yoga class, then went straight to a meeting an hour later and didn’t offend anyone with my sweat or smell ;)I'm strongly considering buying a pair in every color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No side seam is a game-changer I have 2 pairs of the Ashley Legging from Prana and they are durable, comfy, and great. But, taking out the side seam on the Pillar Legging is a total game changer! It takes comfort to a whole new level, seriously. The side seam on my Prana leggings wasn't terrible, but my skin is more sensitive on the outside of my thigh than the inside, especially since they fit slim.I put these Pillar Leggings on, and my thighs felt like they were wrapped in butter! I love, love, love them. Couldn't take them off all weekend! Can't wait to get more. These are a must-have for my yoga and casual wardrobe now.Similar to the Ashley, I purchased the Small size and they fit perfectly, not too tight or too long. I'm 5'4" tall and wear a size 2-4 (depending on the brand) in regular clothes.

Is the Pillar legging fabric as thick as the Ashley legging? Where I practice yoga, they keep the room at about 80 degrees Farenheit and the Ashley fabric is too thick and heavy for that temperature.

Asked by: Lynne
I think I would wear a lighter fabric for 80 degrees. Maybe the printed capri pillar material would be better I got those as well and the fabric feels different. much lighter. But the charcoal and black full length I think can be hot when you sweat in them. I live in Colorado and exercise outdoors so I have not experienced 80 degrees yet this season. They were definitely warm.

is this pant 7-8 length? I have a pair of pillar 7-8 leggings i bought at rei and I cant find the 7-8 pillar pair on here! Thanks

Asked by: Rachel
As of April 2018, the Pillar sold at REi does have "7/8 legging" on the prAna hangtag that identifies the model.I don't know if it is the same as these, or if prAna made a special version for REI.

Do these have any UPF sun protection built into the Chakara fabric? Specifically the Forest Green?

Asked by: Sandra
No I think Prana would have advertised that in the product details.
