Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and durable all season Anorak I love this Anorak! It fits perfectly and feels like it’s made from high quality, durable materials. It’s also stylish as it gets a lot of compliments from strangers. Looks best paired with a funky trucker hat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrific! Great jacket! I really love the look of it, it feels tough, and all of the pockets are a handy feature. The green color looks really nice. My only wish is that it had drawstrings on the waistband and good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Really nice jacket. Haven't tested it in rain yet, but it seems to be pretty water resistant. The fit and quality of materials are great - right on par with basically everything from Prana

I'm moving to Quito and need a new rain jacket. Is this going to fit the bill or should I look for something more waterproof?

Asked by: Levi
While I'm not entirely familiar with the city you're referencing, I can say that this anorak is decent in light drizzle or light rain. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in a downpour or sustained wet conditions, but based on its construction I would say something that's designed as a waterproof shell may be more reliable to keep you dry longer. It is coated with the DWR though. It's made of a similar material as their Zion jacket, which is their stretch Zion fabric, and I have been caught in downpours in this jacket. While it performed well at first, after a sustained period of time in heavy rain, the jacket became saturated, and no longer kept me dry.
