Brion Short is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent fit, low durability As a long time fan of Prana, I've come to appreciate their amazing fit, performance and durability. I haven't purchased another brand of shorts or pants in over 10 years. After recent years of the stretch zion pant becoming a longer/bulkier fit than it's earlier generations, I made the switch to the Brion. I purchased several pairs this season after finding how great the first pair fit. Unfortunately, they have not held up well and the most recent pair I purchased, labeled same size as the others, was too large. The first pair I purchased is quickly wearing in the seat seam after 3 short months, and already has some sort of exposed white strip showing, making them no longer wearable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice shorts I purchased a few pairs of Brion pants before. I really liked them. They're soft, lightweight, stretchy and breathable! So when the shorts version came out I jumped on it right away. The shorts has the same material, pocket designs and construction. The waist size is consistent with the Brion pants. The legs are a bit looser fit than the pants. The Brion pants have a very slim profile. The Brion shorts leg opening is wider at the same length(about 2" wider). Overall, I think those are really cool shorts, casual styling with performance materials. Good for everyday wearing or go on for a hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite pair of shorts I have just found my new favorite pair of shorts. They arrived a few days before a trip to Mexico, and I’m very glad that they did. The stretch fabric is forgiving and relieves any discomfort in critical areas win mobility is essential. The construction, stitching, and hardware is top notch and the fit is true to size, as I have come to expect from Prana. There were a couple occasions where hiking around led to water, and I’m happy to report that the shorts behave like a good amphibian: they do just as well in the water is out, and they dry quickly. Buy these shorts and you will be pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like them. Not real slim Like all Prana pants and shorts, really well constructed, nice material. stretchy but holds shape well. I have Brion long pants and like those a lot too. The reason for the 4 rather than 5 star is - they advertise it as "slim" fit. but I found the legs to be regular fit in that they were the same dimension as my Bronson and Zion shorts which are advertised as "regular" fit. No worry unless you expect a tighter fitting leg. p.s. warning - I was grinding metal and small sparks that normally don't hurt work clothes, burned a hole in one of my Brion shorts. Keep away from fire.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still the best short in the market... ...however, it appears that prAna has changed their sizing. My older shorts are more comfortable and still fit like they did when I first bought them. I have been a 32 for the past 2-3 years in this short and it now fits a bit tight in the waist. I was excited that they finally made a black version and I am going to continue to try them and hope that the snugger waist doesn't become a huge discomfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing customer service I ordered a pair of these and they are great shorts, but they were defective: the front pocket was sewn in half to itself so I can’t put anything in it. When I called customer service, they told me I could send them back, get a merchandise credit, and then reorder another pair. That would seem fine if I it had been a question of fit or preference, but with a straight up defective product, at this price point, I expected better. Stick to Patagonia—costs the same and they’d never leave you hanging like that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit too fitted. These are high quality shorts like everything else I've ever purchased from Prana. I'd like them even more if they were a tad bit more roomy. I'm 6'2" and about 220lbs (athletic build) and these 34's fit well in the waist but they are a bit more snuggly than I prefer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For All The Time For me, they fit great, even on muscular thighs (thanks to soccer)So far I use these things 5-6 days a week, for the last 2 years. Easy to clean and if time and weather allows I like to hang dry them. Besides everyday usage have also used them for: indoor climbing, 5 a side casual soccer, hiking.Cons: On a personal level the 11" inseam feels too long maybe "roomy" too. I wish Prana made a 7" inseam version as well. Nonetheless, for me, the Brion are great shorts, specially the 9" inseam version.

Is the aloe color light grey (as the photo appears) or is it greenish (as the name implies)"?
