Life is Practice
Home is Up the Hill
Video of prAna Ambassadors Rannveig Aamodt and Paul Robinson discussing their experience rock climbing in Colorado.
Eat. Sleep. Climb. For prAna Ambassadors Rannveig Aamodt and Paul Robinson, climbing is life, and life is practice. They describe living in Colorado as an out-of-body experience. A place that lays bare your purest qualities; a place that demands your focus and elevates your motivation; a place that pushes your limits and questions your dreams.

While the goal of every climb remains the same, the ascent is where the real growth happens. Rannveig and Paul call Colorado home not because they get to climb everyday or live in a motivated and inspiring climbing community. Those are bonuses, yes. But most importantly, Colorado is a place that challenges you, challenges the person you think you are and dream of becoming.

Get Lost to Get Found
Climbing is a way for Rannveig to drill into herself. There is a motivation that comes from deep within that she chases down each and every day. Her recent move to Colorado wasn’t just a lifestyle choice, or something that helps her perfect her sport. Her move to Colorado is a continuation of her journey, and something that will ultimately bring her closer to her true self.

Strengthen the Dream
At a birthday party in his home town in New Jersey, Paul met his life’s work. From an early age, Paul has been chasing his dream of climbing for a living. And ever since, he’s been focused, to say the least. Pursuit of anything else only took time away from his passion; a passion which, free from all expectations, took him to Colorado so he could fully immerse himself in learning, living, practicing, and strengthening his dream.
