I bought this mat because I needed something more portable for travel than my regular mat. It does grip really well when dry; a little less grippy when wet, but nothing too bad. I did noticed that when I tried it out on top of my regular mat (for more cushion), the blue color from the underside of the Belize mat, stained my regular mat. I tried cleaning it with a vinegar/water solution but it still bleeds pretty heavily where I put pressure on it. So definitely, do not use on any surface that you don't want turning blue.

Beautiful print, light-weight, non slip, very thin. Great for travel. Might be a bit thin for everyday yoga if you are a little on the bonier side.

I've had this mat for a few months and it is so cute! It's exactly has described, a super light yoga mat (perfect for travel). I always get tons of compliments on it.

It looks great and I love how light weight it is, but the grip is terrible. As soon as my hands and feet got a little sweaty, I started to slip all over.

I have used the mat 2 times for a vinyasa yoga class and for floor pilates. Both times, my hands and feet start to sweat (maybe from the rubber) and I start to slip.

Love this mat! I love the design to it but it is also perfect for when I teach yoga and practice it. It is a pretty thin mat, but I was really surprised by how grippy it was when I went to a hotter yoga class. Super lightweight and easy to tote around town. I'd definitely recommend this mat to everyone!

I absolutely love prana and I love this mat. It did smell a bit strong when I first got it. And if I get like super sweaty it's not the best mat to hold me up but I do love it.

I've had this mat about two weeks and I'm in love!
I'm usually practicing on carpet so the thinness of the mat doesn't bother me. It is SUPER STICKY. I don't slip at all on it. It's light and thin, so it's perfect for a travel mat! This will probably be my mainstay mat, and the pattern is so fun, it gets you excited to roll it out and get to work!

I really enjoy doing stretching for rock climbers. I live and work in the red river gorge so I'm sore often and flexibility is very important to success in climbing. I usually have problems with my feet and hands slipping around on mats, this one is super grippy and the colors are awesome. The only con is that it pretty much feels like you are on the ground so doing yoga or stretching outside can be a bit uncomfortable.

Love the design, it's thin so I put another mat under it, great non-slip surface. I'm not sure if 'lite' meant how thick it is or how much it weighs but for being so thin it's surprisingly heavy. I would recommend this to a friend, my only hesitation is I like being the only one who has it, lol!

I love the pattern on this mat! It is bright, and it lights up my practice. It is on the thinner side, so it is nice to double it up if you are on a harder surface; however, it is extremely light-weight, so I throw it in a backpack and take it to the river! Also, this mat is sticky, so I never slip! LOVE

I'm a yoga teacher and have been searching for the best mat I could get. I stumbled into this mat while rock climbing and tried it out. I immediately went home and bought one for myself. It is super lightweight, super non-slip, and to top it off is a super fun pattern. I cannot recommend this mat highly enough!

I absolutely love this product, in fact this is my favorite Prana mat so far. I teach many classes a week and have to tote my mat, my daughter, and soon a new baby, around with me. I appreciate that the Belize mat has made traveling around town simple, a light weight mat makes a huge difference. The mat has a great grip, even on carpet and has improved the quality of my practice. It is thin but I use a yoga blanket under my sensitive knees and bottom, problem solved. The design is fun and makes me smile. After searching for a perfect "anytime and everywhere" mat the Belize mat is overall a great buy!

I was wary of getting this mat, mostly because I have so many (!) but I'm so glad I did. Though it is extremely thin, it is lightweight and great for travel and outdoor yoga (on the grass) which were the main reasons I decided to buy it in the end. And it is so beautiful! The colors are soft jewel tones, makes me instantly happy the moment i roll it out. It's super sticky, so sweaty hands don't slip. The only reason I didn't give it 5 full stars is I think it would be a bit too thin for use in a regular studio practice. But if you're like me and looking for an outdoor or travel mat, this is perfection.

I use this mat on top of my Revolution mat. It adds just enough thickness between my feet and the cement studio floor. It rolls up nicely inside my other mat. The design on its surface makes a great focal point during those poses that require more concentration. I love this mat! My fellow practitioners have said good things about it as well.

This mat rolls up super tiny as well which is convenient for when I go to a yoga class.
