These need a better design.
I like the Zion material on these as well as their water resistance and breathability.

What I don't care for is the overall design. While I've found the shorts on other brands' convertibles to be too short, these are way too long where the pants zippers hit me on the knees. The pants portion is really bag, even for a hiking pant, with no taper whatsoever. There are no zips at the leg bottoms to assist with removing them over boots. The pant zippers are not color coordinated or tagged for the left and right leg. And finally, unlike the Zion shorts, there is security flap on the back pocket.

Whoever designed these should put in a great effort to creating a true hiking/travel pant.

Zipper is too low and hits knee
The shorts portion should be designed just 1 inch shorter or so (so that the zipper is 1" higher or so) because unless you have very long legs, the zipper that separates the upper section from the lower section hits your knee every time you take a step and it gets very annoying - essentially the zipper section rubs against your knee and doesn't smoothly go over the knee. Other than this they are great pants, BUT this is enough to make me not buy them. If the zipper is higher then I will DEFINITELY be buying a pair of these.

Not for the thin
Husband's a runner with lean legs these pants have wide legs and would be good for someone with larger legs

What were they thinking
The pants run small except the length which is long. I think i figured the company out they cater to the long thin bodies. Be careful the inseam for the zipper is 12in which for me is at the knee. Rubs constantly causing red spots. Two pockets which i like but that does not justify the price. Not sure how they get good re iew but i will look elsewhere.

Stretch Zion and Stretch Zion convertible
Quality product. I recommend ordering at least one size larger than what your used to. My jean size is 34". I had to return and reorder size 36". Return process worked well. Would order again.

Best convertible pants ... ever!
I love these pants. I'm warm blooded by nature, so I often get hot quicker than most. These pants are perfect for those times.

I love that the inseam on the shorts is longer than almost any other convertible pants. I've own several different brands of convertible pants, but these will be the only one I buy from now on. The inseam is the same length as my normal shorts.

Amazing!
These are beyond comfortable. Best pants I own. Above the standard of quality and can be used for everything! Only complaint, I can't get them in black. None the less I just went and bought another pair today.
