A true world traveler, Levente Pinter is based out of Calgary, but spends every winter searching for difficult routes around the planet. To date, Lev has climbed in Canada, the States, France, Spain, Mallorca, Hungary, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, India, Venezuela, and Mexico. Lev was in the library one day, looking at the book Rocks Around the World, by Stephan Glowacz and Uli Wiesmeire, and he has been climbing ever since. Lev’s current passion is deep water soloing, and he finds himself most inspired by new, untouched lines on high quality rock.
Lev is also known for his tendency to dive in and finish other people’s yard projects on rest days, and is quite handy with a chainsaw.

A little Q&A:
What do you spend the most time doing? Climbing and working…
What do you spend the least time doing? Mud bathing. Only once so far…
Who else is in your family? I would like to think that everyone is a part of my family. Of course there is a closer circle of my mother father, my sister who is 2 years older and my grandmother who is 90 years old. Aside from that I have many relatives living in Hungary.
Favorite piece of prana clothing? The Levente shirt, ha ha just kidding. While it is also really nice, if I had to pick only one it would be the Stretch Zion pants.
Favorite climbing area? Planet Earth. Maybe I could give you a top ten list or just use my standard local’s response and say, the Bow Valley in the Canadian Rockies.
