Fair Trade USA is the leading third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in the United States. The organization enables you, the consumer, to make a difference with your dollar. They help people and the planet work in tandem so both are healthy and sustained. Fair Trade USA provides farmers in developing nations the tools to thrive as international business people. Instead of creating dependency on aid, this 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization uses a market-based approach that gives farmers fair prices, workers safe conditions, and entire community’s resources for fair, healthy and sustainable lives.
Outdoor Outreach programs support under-served youth who are at risk for school dropout, substance abuse, violence and unintended pregnancy. Outdoor Outreach is one of just a few organizations in the country to utilize outdoor physical experiences to provide youth with the support, relationships, resources and opportunities they need to become successful adults.
Conservation Alliance is a non-profit organization of outdoor businesses whose collective annual membership dues support grassroots citizen-action groups and their efforts to protect wild and natural areas.
Textile Exchange is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operating internationally committed to the responsible expansion of sustainable textiles across the global textile value chain. prAna has been an active member since 2001; the organization has become an essential resource as prAna folds more sustainability initiatives into our operations and products.
Access Fund is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and to conserving the climbing environment. As the proud recipient of the Sharp End Award, prAna looks forward to its continued support of the Access Funds’ outreach programs and conservation efforts.
Outdoor Industry Association
Outdoor Industry Association is the trade association for companies in the active outdoor recreation business. OIA works diligently to raise the standards of the industry, increase participation in outdoor recreation to strengthen business markets, provide support services to improve member profitability, represent member interests in the legislative/regulatory process, promote professional training and education, and support innovation.
For the past three years w have partnered with bluesign(R) to share and support in leading the industry standard for fabric production. When a fabric is bluesign(R) approved, it is manufactured with efficient energy, safe chemicals, and responsible water use.
