Joshua Tree

Monday, December 9th, 2013

This time lapse was filmed between May 2012 to May 2013. The overall goal of this time lapse is to provide the beauty of Joshua trees that only live in the U.S. I thought it would be amazing if I can collect all the footage of Joshua trees with different weather condition like snowing , different type of clouds, sun, moon ,milky way,and meteor shower.

Joshua trees only live in western Arizona, southeastern California, southern Nevada, and southwestern Utah, which means that we can’t see this trees in different countries but only in America. ~

Ahn hopes his film will inspire others to protect, not destroy nature. The filmmaker, who lives in Los Angeles and was born in South Korea, also wanted to introduce Joshua trees to an international audience and perhaps inspire people to travel to California just to see the trees.
