What does prAna mean?
prAna is a 5,000 year old Sanskrit word (Sanskrit is the oldest written language), that means breath, life, and vitality of spirit. We like the
words of B.K.S. Iyengar, author and yoga guru, who says, “prana is the energy permeating the universe at all levels. It is physical, mental,
intellectual, sexual, spiritual and cosmic energy. All vibrating energies are prana… prAna is the breath of life of all beings in the universe.”
Why does sizing vary season to season?
PrAna has always welcomed and used consumer input to make our products better, and thus we do occasionally alter sizing based on this feedback.
How safe are the chemicals and dyes used by prAna?
We use low-impact dyes according to the standards of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) or the International Association for Research
and Testing in the Filed of Textile Ecology (Oko-Tex 100), which defines low impact as - dyes whose manufacture, use, and disposal have less impact on the
environment than conventional dyes. As used within these standards, the term includes dyes that: contain no heavy metals in their dyestuff, are
formulated using components that contain minimal contaminants, and are readily tested for safe and proper disposal.
Where are your products made?
Approximately 60 percent of prAna products are made in the United States, while the remaining 40 percent come from worldwide suppliers.
Who makes your products and under what auspices?
All prAna products are manufactured under the guidelines of the Fair Labor Association.
What in-house practices do you have in place to minimize your environmental footprint?
prAna'a commitment to the environment starts in our own houses and carries over to our facility's standards: the Natural Power Initiative
produces significant offsets of CO2 emissions; and we have a commitment to in-house recycling of paper, plastic and cardboard, and various other industry-wide initiatives.

What is the status of my order?
prAna will email a confirmation of your order when it ships that includes the tracking number. Please call 800-557-7262 or email ecommerce@prana.com to check on the status of your order if you do not receive an email.
How can I expedite my shipping?
Please call 800-557-7262 to have your shipping upgraded to a faster shipping method.
What happens when items are temporarily out of stock?
An item may occasionally be out of stock at the time you place your order. If the item is temporarily out of stock it will be put on back-order and shipped ASAP for no additional shipping charges. We will contact you by email in the event that an item is sold out for the season.
Can’t find a product?
All the products that we have available in our warehouse are shown online. If you do not see the product your'e looking for online, it is because we are sold out and will no longer carry it. Please email ecommerce@prana.com and we may be able help you locate a store that still has the item in stock.
Do you ship to Canada, PO boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, we ship to Canada, PO boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses using the US Postal Service. US mail orders cannot be tracked. UPS is the shipping carrier for all other addresses in the US.
Do you have Gift Certificates?
prAna.com has online gift certificates available in set dollar amounts or you can call 1-800-557-7262 to place an order for a gift certificate of any value. Purchase gift certificates online here.
Do you have a catalog?
Currently, we have a year round virtual catalog. Our entire product line is online. We periodically have mailings showcasing products but we do not have a physical catalog of every product available.
