My new favorite Pant

Comfy and burly
I've only had these for a couple weeks but feel like I have a good enough sense of the product to write a review. I've worn them climbing a few days and, despite the burly construction, they're not too hot or restrictive (think Carhartt pants...horrible for climbing although they're half the cost of this pant). I really like the zippered pockets for keeping my wallet/phone from falling out. And a zippered pocket keeps the Pearl Street hippies from pickpocketing me and is much cooler-looking than one of those Goth/biker chains. Those are silly. There are two holes in the gusseted crotch to keep things vented which is helpful when I'm running away from the biker and Goth gangs I insulted. Don't want to get overheated.

What's not so great about these pants is, again, Prana's sizing is off. A size 32 waist is too big for my confirmed size 32 waist. But what I love is the little cinch-belt on the waist to allows me to keep the pants on sans belt. Wish Prana would consider the material of the product (and how much it'll stretch) when sizing their pants. Otherwise, it's all good.

nice job
Seriously. If these pants came with a 30" inseam, I don't think I'd have to get any other pant. Looking good in a pair of pants is hands down the most important factor. Closely followed by range of motion and durability. The gusset is awesome, absolutely no tug when working those high steps. Durability is yet to be determined, however they appear thicker and more reinforced than the "Bronson." I also enjoy the draw string at the cuffs, nice touch. Just needs that 30" inseam and it's a five star trouser.

I would buy 20 pairs of these pants
I bought these pants and they are now my new favorite article of clothing for every occasion!

Great Pants
These pants might be the most comfortable canvas-style pants I've worn. A little warm for mid-summer, but outside that, they breath quite well. They're definitely the most stylish or "fashionable" pants I've worn, and have a bit of a "Euro" look to them because of the color block pockets on the back, but I feel comfortable in them style-wise.

That said, they have all the bells and whistles of a great climbing pant (Side zipper pocket, rear zipper pocket, all the regular pockets you'd find in standard jeans, drawstring at the bottom of the legs so you can hike them up).

Add on to that the full-length gusset between the legs, and you've got a comfortable, stylish, and practical pant to take you from the crag to the bar!

Will end up buying every color...
Quite possibly the best climbing pants ever made. Fit, function, and aesthetic receive 5 stars each. A well thought out design that combines both fashion and function superbly.

Great All-purpose Pants
The first thing that really struck me about the pants was their unique look. The two colored scheme between the base color and the accented pockets makes these quite noticeable, and the combination of it's relaxed fit with the adjustable bottom hem system allow them to be changed to fit anyone's desired style and personal needs. Since I did get them in an orange color they do make me look like I'm ready to take out a fire, which seems to make them a great conversation starter. I feel like I can literally do anything with these on: they're casual enough for me to wear hanging out and can be dressed up for a more work-oriented look. I have hiked, bouldered, and done yoga in them and have loved the results. You might feel like you're setting up to do manual labor given that they practically come with a utility belt, but these are the most comfortable and dynamic pants I own.

I love these pants, really love them. I think all of the colors are great. I have the henna (orange) and teal color. Great workmanship, great material. The only issue, for me, is the lack of variation in inseam length. The 32" inseam is really slightly too long for me. But I like the pants too too much, and so make it work. And, hemming is not really possible with the ties in the cuff and scuff protection on the back of the bottom of the pant. All great additions. So, if 32" is your inseam, consider this a 5 star rating. If you have shorter legs, then you gotta figure something else out.

It grew on me...
A little warmer than I imagined since it's supposed to be a climbing pant. But I don't climb, so it's not a real con for me. I found they felt comfortable around my large thighs. The gusset made all the difference. The large pockets also make putting your wallet in your pant more comfortable.

I am keeping them.
I bought these pants for the features. Huge back pockets. Zippered wallet pocket back there too! Vented crotch. Pants made for kneeling without the bind. Double belt back loop.
100% cotton. My wife dislikes the Harbour Blue color I chose.
Just close your eyes lady. I am keeping them.
