Proving what we preach
We might not know the exact plant that grew our organic cotton, but we’re close. We can trace its life from the farm where the bowl of fiber was grown, through processing and production, all the way to end product. While that seems like a lot of work, we think it is pretty important to make sure that what we sell our customers is in fact what we claim it to be.
We also trace materials that don’t have certifications associated with them—materials with a level of controversy like wool—and recently turned our focus on the forest practices of where our tree fibers like rayon and viscose come from.
We’ve worked for years to provide the right traceability certifications and are proud that we are able to prove our claims and support the suppliers who’ve gone to such great lengths to ensure the accuracy of our product chain.
